Our Involvement with the Orfalea Fund
s'COOL FOOD™ is an Orfalea Fund Initiative. In keeping with its long history of involvement in children's health and education initiatives, the Orfalea Fund is devoting the 2007-2008 school year to conducting a comprehensive, county-wide, school food needs assessment and educational campaign focusing on both children's health and the local agricultural economy. In so doing, we hope to use our resources to help generate a county-wide focus on food and wellness that will nurture our community’s children for decades to come.
